Strangely, the tears I’ve shed
We’re few compared to those before you
What a strange path we’ve led

Police, more than thirteen
Shot this babe of one
Fingers of blame pointing towards the father

Both dead
Their stories relayed by the thirteen
Thirteen with guns and ammunition
A babe and his father

Facts seem ludicrous
Truth obscured
False accusations
No witnesses procured

The knives that have plunged deep
Both front and back
On the premise of love and kindness
In truth destruction and demise
Of the evolution of its end
Grey are the skies
The suns rays still make an impact
Far from the ability to stand the glare
Through the veil of the clouds
The blood keeps dripping
Like a faulty faucet
That no matter how hard you tighten the knob
The constancy of the dripping continues
Drip, drip, plop
We die a slow death
Heart skips many a beat
Body weakens
Death rattle beckons the end is near
The letting of blood
Where we staggered and suffered for years
To make it happen
Fight one more day

The relief that happens within
When surrender dissolves all of the angst
Watching the bleed seep in every crevice
And one silent tear escapes the eye

Ache makes it hard to take that one breath
Forget about the next
Excruciatingly shattered breath
Feeling of thousand of prickly needles puncturing
Scarring and creating pain
Looking down
The blood can led a pathway
Where the stain can never be washed away
Inertia feels safe
Unlike the frailty of relations
Lies bespoken
Mastered by the inaccuracy of activity
Frayed away by the daily strife
When one feels shorted
By this cavity we call life

Aches and pains
Come and go
Stress increases as fear descends
Staccato is the blood flow
Heart beat harkens a threatened ascend
Wiping away all traces of tear stains
Taking back the power
Deception has elevated closer to the eleventh hour
Smiling faces are but masks
Depression incurs unusual habits
At times, difficult to complete tasks
All in all
The focus is back
En guard for the next attack

Magic missed its mark
Delving far too deep misgivings of the dark
Words hold no meaning
Wistfully hoping for what was
For now seems to be missed meanings
Slip of the tongue where words are superfluous
Spoken with no belief
Nor actions, whilst putting on an act
Academy award winners are numbered by the millions
On social media
When personal interactions face to face
Lack of spines and no convictions
Social media keyboard bullies
Must have their way
Bullying at its finest
Magic is lost
It’s gone for far too long
Mixed in the obscurity of false misleadings

Choking felt surreal
At the base of the throat
Where I’ve chosen to forego the speech
Not letting the rise of the emotions feel
Hiding behind the mask again
Words spoken have no meaning
The desire to reach you, beseech
Searching for the right words to say
Good bye
Searching for the unlimited feelings or being
**** open laid to die
Grateful it’s only temporary
I e realized the greater love doesn’t compare
The greater love is within me
Has always been
The scars are healing mutually beneficial
Words spoke don’t match the actions
Moving forward angst is gone
There is no looking back
You let go a while ago
Watching the lies flow like a huge stack of pringles
If you blow on them hard enough
Watch them tip and fall
Scattered all over
Bonus with the pringles,
You can still eat them
