That is so sweet of you Sir Clay Death.  Thank you. I am truly honored and humbled by the welcome and kindness I have received here.  To have been given so generously the opportunity to share with you all is a blessing to me. From what I have seen in my adventurous browsing here, I am truly looking forward to getting to know you all, knowing that we can support, encourage and cheer each other on.   Many blessings of growth, prosperity and love to this little corner of the internet world known as CamelotEliteTennis.   Muah!

i am going to mention your place on facebook everyday just as i mention camelot elite tennis society.

this place is new and all that but there is something special here. there is engaging content and cool features already for all to enjoy. there is something for everyone.

i will continue my work on building the kids center tomorrow.

this may be our simple and humble little camelot but there is a lot of valuable and timely information there.

out tennis video center is the best i have ever seen at a tennis forum.

we will continue to build and create and eventually people will start coming here.

It's kind of  like the mustard seed parable.

Here is another illustration Jesus used: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed planted in a field.  It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of garden plants; it grows into a tree, and birds come and make nests in its branches.”Matthew 13:31-32

i like this way of putting it.

very cool.

i have to try to come with a cool idea tomorrow. i know i have to continue to build the kids center tomorrow.

but i also want to add something else to camelot tomorrow.

i dont know what it will be but i will come up with something.

that is what is so neat about something like this. we are truly at the ground floor and we all get to try to build and create content and ideas.

i dont know if you have seen our mission statement but it is pretty cool.

it is at the welcome center. it goes something like this: to promote and facilitate interactions and experiences that entertain and inspire.

i think that is pretty noble stuff.

i could have thrown "educate" or "enlighten" in there too but that might have sounded a bit arrogant.

the fact of the matter is that it is a learning experience also for all of us. first and foremost, we get to learn from each other and we learn to interact with each other and the world.

and then there is fairly engaging content here.

we also have all the breaking news on not just tennis but all of the sports played around the globe.

we have the best matches in the sport of tennis. all at one place.

we have the christian centers by Laurice and Sara.

and now we have your amazing place.

It's a wonderful site and if you need any help with the children's corner, I'd be more than happy to help.

this is a wonderful place, Carmen. In your first few posts, you have added another dimension. I am glad you decided to come and dwell with us in our special place. Your contributions thus far have been priceless.

you are too kind.

what we might do is move the kids center to your place.

you can explore and experiment with some ideas. i will help all i can.

please feel free to take it any direction you see fit.

carmen your avatar rocks. impressive stuff.

this is just an idea. do you want to fire up a thread that reads" The Carmen Show"?

i have done that at few places. there is one at the kids center as well.

here is what i had in mind: it gives people a chance to swing by just say hello or list their ideas about something they might have in mind.

or it can be a place for a little general chat. somebody may want to have a talk with you or ask you a question.

this also increases people's options. some--for instance--might not feel comfortable about posting at the "general sports show".

it is just an idea. obviously it is all up to you.

Thanks. I drew that silhouette last night and put it together.

I don't mind the thread, but I don't like "The Carmen's Show", it makes me feels as I'm on stage and I'm awfully shy and get stage fright....lol....perhaps another name....which I can't think of one right now....

I see that you moved Camelot Kid Center already....lol.....I  have an idea for the Kids Center.  With so many children today dealing with bullying, not to mention peer pressure, among other things, I think a place where they can come for resources and perhaps  find answers to unanswered questions, would be of great importance and would give CamelotEliteTennis an opportunity to give the children support, comfort and strength.  I have a friend, who is an advocate for anti-bullying and I am positive that he can plug us into some resources and perhaps join us. Let me know what you think and  I'll talk with him.

I have another idea, but wouldn't know how to set it up for my corner and maybe even for the Kids Center, a place where members (children and adults) can inbox questions.  I know that there are times people want to share something that they are going through, but are too afraid to post and make public...perhaps a little corner where they can feel that someone is listening to them and guiding them without the whole internet world knowing.  It's just a thought.   Think about it and let me know.

that avatar is so cool that you maye get some requests over time. somebody else may want something cool like that.

by all means get hold of your friend and let him know what we are trying to do here.

we are really all about having good clean fun but if we can make a small difference along the way then why not just do it.

our mission is to promote and facilitate interactions and experiences that entertain and inspire. these experiences can enrich, enlighten, and educate as well.

look what salman khan is doing. he is out to educate the whole world. he dared to dream big.

it is a noble objective and it will set us apart.

we are not really a tennis forum even though that is how we are going to be viewed.
i like to think that we are slightly different. we have a fairly unique proposition which i think people can enjoy and have fun with.

we are a society of cool people who are out having just good clean fun while we share something with the world.

unlike facebook where your posts disappear almost immediately, here they stay put for the whole world to read and enjoy over and over again. and they are all one simple click away.

facebook is cool too as it has it function.

you other idea also sounds superb. i think it will work and do some good.

nature and wildlife is also something kids enjoy a great deal. it can be a part of their learning experiences.

i might put that in your place as well. it can go just under the kids center.

i am also trying to streamline camelot just a tiny bit. and we can change it back anytime.

all you have to do is just say the word and its done here.

i am thinking about having a separate place for Laurice and Sara. their centers are a bit lost in that multi purpose center.
Title: Re: I Would Like To Thank Lady Carmen
Post by: fancymeny on January 06, 2014, 01:01:13 pm
When it comes to nature and wildlife, I have the perfect helper, my daughter......I've learned a lot from her.

How do you insert large pictures in these post...mine seem so small.
Title: Re: I Would Like To Thank Lady Carmen
Post by: Clay Death on January 06, 2014, 01:23:16 pm
this site (camelot) is running slow for me again. i dont know what is going on. it has to be the cable company servers. it is something on their end.

i use a free photosharing site: photobucket.

so you may have to use that angle to post larger images.

speaking of images, did you see the christian art gallery at Laurice's Christan Center? i started it the process anyway.

anyway i will go ahead and move the nature and wildlife center to your place.

have fun with this all. and it is very much your very own place. just do anything you please and take it any direction you need to.

I saw your thread at the kids center. pretty cool stuff.

this is going to become a bit of a happening place in about 2 years. that is about how long it takes if you are starting from scratch.

we are offering a fairly unique proposition. I believe it is going to work out.
Title: Re: I Would Like To Thank Lady Carmen

I added a breaking news thread at your place. all news is supposed to be current and constantly being updated automatically.

on another note, I don't know if you know maria marga. she is a member here but has not been able to post.

today I saw on facebook that she was in a hospital. I wish her a speedy recovery.

Laurice was supposed to go to the doctor today and get some antibiotics. she is not well at the moment. I wish her a speedy recovery also.

Thanks for the updates, CD. We do wonder and worry what happens to our compatriots when they disappear suddenly like that.

Will keep them in my prayers.

I will include them in my prayers.   I go missing sometimes too, but that is because I have an elderly mother, 83, who I also take care of by accompanying her to her appts and so forth......I'm almost busy everyday...even on my days off....

Hi Clay!  Yes, I've been taking it easy.  I needed it.  I stayed at home, watched some videos, ate pizza and more pizza with pineapples, sang a little, prayed a lot, wrote a few poems.....I'll share one day here and if all goes well record some songs I have.   Stay blessed Camelot!

I really must try pineapples on my pizza. Everyone who eats it that way raves about it. I think about it, and then am afraid that I won't like, but the next time I order pizza, I'm going for it!

I cant believe this cold weather here on the gulf coast.

it was 34 degrees when I woke up this morning.

it was 28 degrees earlier in Natchez, Mississippi and snowing there. it was 34 degrees in Baton Rouge.

I have some friends who went to Destin to hang out on the beaches. it is going to be a cold experience.

Awwww...he's adorable.

It's been cold  too in NY.  I love the winter, always have.....but this year it's been crazy!  I'm actually looking forward to spring weather.  However, I'm scared of summer.  Not so much because of the heat and the fact that I have a bit of sun allergy.....I'm freaked about the utility bills!    :o  lol

Our weather in the Midwest is finally start to break. It has been a blisteringly cold winter so I am looking forward to spring. Today the temperature at 8 am was 11 degrees, but by 3 pm it was 31.

According to the forecast we will be having 40 and above temperatures from here on out.

I am ecstatic! This winter weather has totally zapped my energy.
